Dr. Ho is a native of Stockton and attended the following schools and colleges:
Edison High School, San Joaquin Delta College, California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo, and the University of California at Berkeley School of Optometry. He completed a residency at the Palo Alto VA hospital and U.C. Berkeley School of Optometry in rehabilitative optometry. Dr. Ho is a past board member of the Community Center for the Blind. He is currently a member of the U.C. Berkeley Optometric Alumni Association. Previously, he has treated patients at Heritage Eye Associates, Central Valley Eye Medical Group, Pacific Laser Eye Center, Premier Laser Eye Center, and Eye Care Associates Optometry. |
Dr. Ho has lectured to local optometrists, staff, and low vision groups in the area. He is very experienced in the areas of refractive surgery, contact lenses, low vision, and medical eye care including ocular infections, glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. Ho has co-managed thousands of LASIK patients since 1996. Previously, he was the Optometric Network Liaison at Pacific Laser Eye Center (also known as Premier Laser Eye Center). The experience at the Veterans Administration residency and Heritage Eye Associates has prepared Dr. Ho well for co-managing the care of diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and cataract patients. He has positioned himself to work with the finest ophthalmologists in the area. Dr. Ho's residency also included low vision, pediatric eye care, and advanced contact lens fittings.
Dr. Ho is an avid photographer. Other hobbies include traveling, mountain biking, inline skating, playing video games, watching movies and anime, and spending time with family, friends and his dog.
